A self-report of an antibacterial particle
Hello everyone, I am a zinc sulfide, nicknamed zinc ion. Everyone calls me antibacterial particles. I am very small, everyone can't feel me.
But I really protect everyone. Such as antibacterial socks, bedding and so on.
Photos from my work
How I work:
I usually fix it on the surface of porous materials such as fluorspar and silica gel by physical adsorption, ion exchange and other methods to make antibacterial agents, and then add them to the corresponding products to obtain materials with antibacterial ability.
Simply put, because of my unique chemical structure, I can easily destroy the structure of bacterial proteins and cause bacterial metabolism disorders, so I have a strong antibacterial and deodorant effect.
My buddy:
There are also many substances that can inhibit bacteria like me, which can be roughly divided into three categories: inorganic, organic, and natural antibacterial agents.
Natural products such as: chitin, mustard, wasabi, etc. It is simple to use, but has limited antibacterial effect, poor heat resistance, and low sterilization rate. Organic types such as: quaternary ammonium salts, biguanides, phenols, etc. Generally speaking, organic antibacterial agents have poor heat resistance, are easily hydrolyzed, and have a short validity period. Inorganic: zinc oxide, copper oxide, ammonium dihydrogen phosphate, lithium carbonate, high temperature resistance, good effect, and I happen to fall into this category.
My functions:
I can mainly inhibit Staphylococcus aureus (Gram-positive bacteria), Escherichia coli, Klebsiella (Gram-negative bacteria), Candida albicans, Pseudomonas aeruginosa, these bacteria are usually lurking in life .It is easy to cause discomfort to the human body and induce a series of diseases. In addition, I can also eliminate sulfur substances in the process of bacterial metabolism to achieve antibacterial and deodorant effects.
